The Uno Lochard cycling rain jacket is a weather-proof jacket made from somewhat heavier non-rip nylon fabric, with mesh panels technically placed to help keep you dry while also allowing for air circulation, aiding perspiration and moisture displacement. We would rate this as a heavy shower jacket - it will block the rain for some time. This jacket is popular with commuters and some tourers who want good levels of protection and features but don't want to pay for membrane technology jackets (i.e. goretex). The Lochard features a high collar which has been lined with quality felt to eliminate neck chafing and provide a soft feel. It also has the convenience of a rear pocket with a covered zip. And for safety, it comes in fluro yellow with dark blue sleeves and 3M® reflective tape.
