Designed and hand made in Italy these premium level knicks include Santini's iconic innovation and style. They include Santini's unique multi layer gel insert chamois with reduced friction points, and premium Dupont lycra. These are the bibs worn by major European Circuit & European Continental Pro teams including Katusha, Lampre, Vacansoleil, Androni Giocattoli, De Rosa Flamia, the AIS-Jayco team and others Features: Bib shorts with white mesh bibs - the mesh reduces the heat where you don't need it Anatomical CX cut fits men and women Reflecting cord on sides and back (varies check with store if important to you) Silicon gripper on the legs Also available in Navy Blue, Red, & Royal Blue on request EVOLUTION OLTRE TWIST GEL The great champions (European pro team champions) of the bike tested the characteristics, which make this gel based chamois system truly unique: Elasticity - the chamois follows the shape of your body Softness - the microfiber fabric "Meryl", with its high absorbing properties and treated with antibacterial "Sanitized", assures a comfortable contact with the skin Absence of seams - the padding's special stitching and framework have been studied to assure the total absence of rough parts in contact with the skin Self-airing - the holes on the outside surface of the padding, allow a proper ventilation drawing moisture away from the skin Anti-sliding - the micro-mesh of the external chamois has been studied to assure a neater seat on saddle Twist-gel heart - essential element which assures total protection and a regular distibution of the weights. Note this is gel - not a liquid (ask for a demonstration of a cut away chamois if in store) Innovative material, studied to assure the higher comfort, Twist-gel recreates a surprising analogy with the skin. Thanks to its jellylike consistence it offers low thermic conductibility, avoids the overheating and stimulates the circulation of the blood in the points in contact with the body. Twist-gel is different from traditional filling foams, because of its great absorbing properties, and its distribution of weights capacity. These attributes allow to reduce the loads on the body and to distribute them more correctly with a perfect absorption of vibrations. Its shape can be twisted up to 800% under compression and it returns to the original dimension without any change. The Extech Gel padding is attached to a separate panel and sewn via a special hole in the bibshorts. This way all the stitching is on the outside, meaning internally the bibshorts are absolutely seamless. By this means you avoid any unnecessary fabric since the padding is directly in contact with the saddle. Note Santini is European - which is a SMALL FIT. We recommend you choose between a size larger than you would wear in American or Australian/New Zealasnd designed clothing. Some sizes may be 7 to 10 days delivery.
