Santini T-Gel is the best selling, top level Santini Short! Santini has taken one of the best bib-shorts in the market and made a non-bib version but with all the fantastic features that make the T-Gel bib knick a market leader. Designed and hand made in Italy, this short features Santini's super tough 'touring' fabric, the famous T-gel chamois, and reflective trim. Features Anatomical cut fitting both men and women. Long lasting Dupont Lycra made with ladderproof microstructured 'Touring"' fabric Reflective trim for added safety and visbility on the road. Silicon gripper on the legs. Antibacterial "Twist Gel" external ('exotech') chamois. The chamois is a separate panel of fabric that is sewn in via a special hole in the short. This way all the stitching is on the outside, maintaining a smooth elastic surface on the inside - so there are no stitched seams against the skin reducing potential for chafing points - especially after some time in the saddle. > EVOLUTION OLTRE TWIST GEL The great champions of the bike tested the characteristics, which make this padding unique: 1) Elasticity - the chamois follows the shape of your body 2) Softness - the microfiber fabric "Meryl", with its high absorbing properties and treated with antibacterial "Sanitized", assures a comfortable contact with the skin 3) Absence of seams - the padding's special stitching and framework have been studied to assure the total absence of rough parts in contact with the skin 4) Self-airing - the holes on the outside surface of the padding, allow a proper ventilation drawing moisture away from the skin 5) Anti-sliding - the micro-mesh of the external chamois has been studied to assure a neater seat on saddle 6) Twist-gel heart - essential element which assures total protection and a regular distribution of the weights. Innovative material, studied to assure the higher comfort, Twist-gel recreates a surprising analogy with the skin. Thanks to its jellylike consistence it offers low thermic conductibility, avoids the overheating and stimulates the circulation of the blood in the points in contact with the body. Twist-gel is different from traditional filling foams, because of its great absorbing properties, and its distribution of weights capacity. These attributes allow to reduce the loads on the body and to distribute them more correctly with a perfect absorption of vibrations. Its shape can be twisted up to 800% under compression and it returns to the original dimension without any change. "EVOLUTION OLTRE TWIST GEL" conceived, designed, produced and patented by Santini.
