This is pretty much the best and warmest thermal for active wear coming from the people who developed technical base layers. So head outside with confidence in the W Freeze 1/2 Zip, constructed of dual layer LIFA® T3 hollow fiber technology and merino wool to deliver exceptional warmth and moisture moving management at a minimal weight. The high neck half-zip design provides additional warmth and ventilation to modify the body's temperature during any activity. Features: Female cut with dual layer technology ½ zip design allows flexibility for venting excess heat when warmed or moving into warmer environments Lifa® T3TM hollow fiber technology(43%) for the inner layer – providing comfort warmth, high wicking & shape retention. This is 30% drier and 53% lighter than polyester. The hollow fibre material of the inner layer furhter increases the wicking effect by adding capilliary action and insulation (the same approach used by polar bear fur). Merino wool outer layer for warmth and even temperature regulation (57%) Close fit with elastic material maximises skin contact to enhance wicking effect of fabric and maximise thermal insulation Flat lock stitching – reducing abrasion opportunities and creating attractive lines Low bulk cuffs HH signature flashing breaks the black and makes it attractive if used as an outer garment Designed for extreme use and suitable for touring and expeditions, where the hightened antimicrobial properties of both fabrics minimise the needs for washing, and commuters wishing several uses between washes Can also be used for other active purposes including jogging, skiing, hiking, and sitting around cold football fields
